An inconsequential,
but nonetheless frustrating month,
which started off on the wrong foot;
then recovered nicely, only to get
hit again in the last week.
Since the New Year has given me the
opportunity of refreshing my annual
charts, the sequence of events is
clearly visible in the charts above.
In all, the month finished down
-0.65%
I put the earlier drop down to
market jitters coming back after the
holidays, but the last decline had
more to do with surprise economic
numbers, primarily out of Australia.
With the New Year,
I have re-authored and
re-hosted the
Zone Capital Web Site, for those
interested in the commercial side of
my business.
Finally, we had a surprise
celestial visitor this month;
McNaughts comet. I've posted
some pictures I took from the
backyard on the
Head Office
page, for any who might be
interested. Personally, I was
thrilled, as I've never seem a comet
before. I reckon it has to be
a good omen :-)
