Trading put in a
good finish during the latter half
of the month, resulting in a 2.1%
overall profit. Not earth
shattering perhaps, but still good
money when annualized.I know that
some readers compare these results
to that of my
funds management business
- Zone
Capital. While the two results
will be similar, since they are
both managed by the same API code,
they will not be identical.
There are several reasons for this,
and I won't go into all of them or
elaborate explanations; suffice it to
say that the three main reasons for
minor discrepancies are:
1) Zone Capital Trading Trust 1
(Zone Capital's benchmark) results
are after fees
2) Zone Capital rules off at
4:00PM EST (US) on the last day of
the month. Futurestech at
midnight of the last day.
3) Futurestech's accounts are
denominated in US dollars and
maintains an imperfect hedge back to
my domestic currency AUD. The
Zone Capital Trading Trust 1 account
is denominated in AUD, and doesn't
require a hedge.
Wishing everyone good trades.
